The Alyne Bridal collection by Rivini is coming to Felichia and we can hardly contain ourselves! What an amazing find this collection was when we first saw the gowns at the designers office. Alyne Bridal was just introduced last season and the bridal gowns are gorgeous! The gowns are all made of the purest silks and the silhouettes have clean lines and classic shapes that encompass a traditional
feel for modern day brides. The gowns will be arriving this summer but here is a sneak peek!
Trunk Show for this collection is on Aug 28, 2010. Please call to book your time.

It’s Bridal Fashion week in New York and we are SO on it. One of our favorite photographers, Matthew Grazier, is snapping pictures as we speak and we’ll have the full recap for you later in the week. BUT, to get the excitement a-brewin’ we thought we’d share the latest (as in just released yesterday) collection by Modern Trousseau. A design house that we are completely, madly and totally obsessed with. Here are our favs…

I mean, are you dying over those first two dresses? SWOON CENTRAL. The black velvet ribbon, the gorgeous silhouette, the purely blissful fabric on the first gown. Then there’s the second. The rouging, the asymmetrical approach, the total unabashed romance in the cut. Whew. Enough to make a girl go a little nutty. Here are some of the other gorgeous gowns from Modern Trousseau’s latest collection…exclusive for Toronto Brides!

A huge congratulations to all of the designers that are debuting their latest collections this week! We can’t wait to see the wedding gorgeousness that is coming out of your studios! And to our readers, stay tuned throughout the week for all of the lovely new gowns.

This year stars graced the red carpet in the 2010 love collection.

Magazine Oscar party in the strapless version of love Evening taffeta and lace gown in shimmer grey.
“Access Hollywood” host and Enzoani admirer, Shaun Robinson shined in B1 in block colors shimmer grey and lavender at the “Essence Women in Film Luncheon”.

We love the dresses we just got in from our new designer collection, Lusan Mandongus. Think slim lines, delicate beaded laces and incredible tailored details. The picture above is my favorite from his spring 2009 line. Hard to tell in this picture, but it’s a super sheer beaded lace overlay over Chantilly lace and organza. Really soft and romantic, this dress has an ethereal quality without sacrificing a streamlined silhouette. I rarely see a beaded lace gown I like so I’m very excited to have this design in the store!!!

We LOVE the new gowns we have gotten in from Modern Trousseau! Just can’t get enough of their lace gowns. They are so intricate, and the fit is amazing. Callie really puts a lot of thought into the details of her lace gowns sewing every piece of lace in a place that enhances the gown. “Autumn” is no exception”

Inspiration for her Fall 2010 Bridal Collection is from the exotic in the common place, perfecting the art of “Staycation”.
From the designer: “We found our home state of Texas inspiring – from the live music scene of Austin and the artists community of Marfa to the Spanish architecture of the Alamo.”
We are super excited about Watters and Watters 2010 collection. They have gone above and beyond for this collection. Soft fabrics, great silhouettes, and beautiful details make up the 2010 collection. The dresses are starting to arrive NOW, so don’t be shy and come see them!

Super trendy and classically elegant? This may sound like a contradiction, but one-shouldered gowns have been all the rage recently and still have an air of sophistication. Whether channeling your inner Grecian goddess or Hollywood starlet, a one-shouldered gown will show your fashion sense without making you cringe at your wedding photos years down the road (a la big, poofy ‘80s sleeves).
